Whadda View!

I'm all moved in and settled downtown in my new apartment in the West End. I'm happy as to how things have turned out in this regard. We have a view of Coal Harbour (nothing beats ocean views), the North Shore Mountains, and Stanley Park. I went for a walk down on the boardwalk and around Lost Lagoon yesterday. I feel so lucky, it's not often that you have these things in your backyard.

I'm working at an ESL school in Kits right now called Reading Town. Its alright, not bad work, a little disappointing still, as its not what I want to be doing, but I still haven't heard from the school districts around here to see if I have work as a TOC this fall. Very frustrating, but probably yet another lesson in patience...why is it that I am always put through these sort of trials?

John has just started school at Langara this fall, big changes for him. He just quit his job and is taking the prerequisites for teacher's college. He'll apply for next year's intake. He's doing really well with it right now though and enjoying all the changes.
