Picnic in the Park Has a Whole New Meaning

Sunday I went to church at Yangjae again. It was really great. I'm really enjoying the services and people that go there. I think I'll stick around for a while.

Anyway, after church Rob, Matt, Sarah, and I decided to go to Citizen's Park. It's a pretty big park about 10 minutes from the church we all go to. Some Korean parks have "Barefoot Parks," which basically means that they have sharp, pointy rocks that you step on barefoot on a track. It's supposed to work like reflexology, better the rest of your system. So we all took some time to get around this track with different sharpie-sharp things jabbing into our feet.

After that we felt that the next best thing to do would be to nap on some benches. So we did. We all noticed the scooter delivery men bringing food to people. So Matt decided to sprint out to one at the drop of a hat and figure out how we could all eat some food in the park. It was awesome, cause the guy was super happy that random white weirdos were all into ordering, AND you eat on real dishes and then you leave them in the park and buddy guy comes back later to pick them up on his scooter. It's such a great concept. That allowed us to sit and chill away from smog and city noise for a few hours anyway.

There are some fun pictures of the day. Including Sarah stealing a poor kids tricycle, riding it, then breaking it. Oopsies. It was hillarious though and worth it for the pictures that we got!

I hope you enjoy!
